Tips to help candidates face the Interview

All the very best to friends who are going to face interview today and onwards.

  1. Be there at the venue before time with confidence, positiveness, clear and understandable  communication skill and of course, in a decent attire.
  2. Situation based questions and questions relating to present scenarios in CIL/Subsidiaries will be there. Just deliver your answer incorporating your visionary thoughts, problem solving attitude, competencies, factors to promote employer branding, organisational development, etc.
  3. Never ever argue with the panel over any subject. It is better to be quite than to be ill rated.
  4. If you are not aware or sure of the answer of any question asked during the interview....simply get it passed by saying "Sir, I had gone through it but unable to recall the same at this juncture, sorry"
  5. Don't get nervous, you people have worked hard and cracked the written exam by studying a lot of things. Whatever you have learnt is sufficient enough for you to be adjudged. No body in this world can know everything except God. So be utmost confident.
  6. Your answer should be very to the point, concise and clear.
  7. Pl. go through the existing challenges/constraints prevailing in CIL/Subsidiary and remedial/corrective measures to be undertaken in your view (They might check your visionary thoughts).
  8. Study carefully the concept of change management (SAP/ERP implementation, etc.) and steps/remedies to tackle them effectively.
  9. See the processes of measuring the performance of management (MBO- Management by Objective in terms of four quadrant....Performance, Competencies, Values and Potential). Just explain it if asked questions related to this.
  10. Present & defend your stand in a stupendous manner before the panel as to why you should be selected in executive cadre from non-executive cadre. Express your behavioral competencies.
  11. Prepare yourself with some sort of questions/situation like:

         i) Difference between Individual disputes vis-a-vis industrial dispute

ii) As a Welfare Officer/Personnel Officer, what will be your line of action in the event of                any fatal mine accidents in your mine?

ii) See key HR terminologies and difference between key terms of HR.

iv) As a professional Personnel Officer/Welfare Officer, list the very first things which you              would like to do after joining.

        v) What do you think about the Integration of IT/digitization with HR processes?

        .........and many more like above.

12.Greet the interviewers by both hand with day time wish in English or Hindi after entering         the room. Don't take your seat until asked. Sit relaxed, calm and with confidence in                 correct position.

My dear friends just think that you are few yards away from victory.....victory to make a new destiny, victory to change yourself in a professional manner, victory to justify your hard labour and valuable ambitions, victory for your family members, victory to show the world the hidden potential within you......you have to cover these few yards for which nothing can stop you....THIS INTERVIEW TOO.....Go and win......I am sure you can win and you will win. Team, Coalcareer wishes you all the very best of luck.🙏👍👍
